What began as a dream long ago to own a shop has become so much more. Chris truly feels he has been given a platform to witness to customers and sow seeds of faith. Fixing cars is just a means for fulfilling God’s ultimate purpose.
Growing up, Chris was always at his dad’s shop, Nelson Body Shop. He loved cars, especially customizing them to make them non-stock. He worked on and paid for every vehicle he owned. At a very young age, he dreamed of one day opening his own shop.
Finally, in 2019, after 15+ years of making the drive to Mercedes Benz, he decided to take a leap of faith and become his own boss. With a dream and lots of prayer, Nelson Boyz Paint & Body was born. The business started in his dad’s old shop with his dad by his side.
Chris quickly outgrew the space, and once again God provided. During the height of the pandemic, the perfect spot of land became available. By the grace of God, it was purchased at one-third of the original listing price and we circled that land in prayer and God’s miracles continued to roll in and August of 2021 the new shop opened for business.

At Nelson Boyz Paint & Body, we are more than coworkers , we are family. It is with heavy hearts that we honor the lives of two cherished members of our Nelson Boyz family who are no longer with us. These young men were not only dedicated workers, but genuine people who brought character, laughter, and heart into our shop every day. They showed up willing to work hard, help others, and represent Nelson Boyz with pride. Their presence left a lasting impact on our team and on everyone who had the privilege of knowing them. Though their time with us was far too short, their legacy lives on in the relationships they built, the memories they left behind, and the family they remain a part of forever. They will always be remembered as brothers, teammates, and friends at Nelson Boyz Paint & Body. We honor their lives, we grieve their loss, and we carry their memory with us in everything we do.
